Materials Needed:

  • Red yarn (cotton or acrylic, DK or worsted weight)

  • Green yarn for the stem 

  • Pink or white yarn for the heart accent

  • 1,7 mm or 2 mm crochet hook

  • Scissors

  • Yarn needle

  • Fiberfill stuffing

Abbreviations (US Terms):

  • MR – Magic Ring

  • SC – Single Crochet

  • INC – Increase

  • DEC – Decrease

  • SL ST – Slip Stitch

  • CH – Chain

  • HDC – Half Double Crochet

  • DC – Double Crochet

Cherry Pattern:

Make 2 cherries:

  1. MR, 6 SC into the ring (6)

  2. INC around (12) close and create another one until second round.

  3. connect 2 parts . Make 6 sc  in first part,then connect and make 12 sc ,then 6 sc in the other part.

  4. R4-9 : 24 SC ( 6 ROWS)

  5. R10: (1SC,DEC)*8 [ 16SC] , 

  6. R11: DEC 8 fasten off  Stuff before closing.


Stem 

  1. Attach green yarn to one cherry and CH 60

R1: CHAIN 91
R2: 16 HDC,6 SL ST, 20 HDC, 6 SL ST, 20 HDC, 6 SL ST, 16 HDC CHAIN 1.
R3-R5: 16 HDC,6 SL ST, 20 HDC, 6 SL ST, 20 HDC, 6 SL ST, 16 HDC CHAIN 1. [ BACK LOOP ONLY]


Final Assembly:

  • Attach the keychain ring to the top of the stem.

  • Make sure everything is secured and fastened properly.
